Our Story
My interest in tree work began at the young age of fifteen years old. My oldest brother and I would spend long hours splitting firewood for his wood burning stove. I learned everything that I could from my Father-in-Law who had worked as a Logger and a Tree Professional for over 40 years. We are a four generation tree company. After several years of training I decided to go on my own and start my own Tree Company in Louisville, Kentucky.
I purchased my first piece of equipment which was a small pickup truck and a 6x10 trailer which I hauled my brush and wood on. After saving for several months I purchased my first Chip Truck and a 90XP Bandit Chipper. In 1999, I was able to further expand my business by purchasing my first wood splitter and starting my own Firewood Business. My first year I sold 40 ricks of firewood. I now sell over 100 ricks each year. Our wood consists of all hardwoods which include Oak, Ash, Hickory, Hard Maple and Cherry.
We continue to grow year after year with a clientele of over 1,000 satisfied customers who continue to return to us for our business. We have an A plus rating with the Better Business Bureau and are currently on Angie’s List with an A rating and Yellow pages with a five star rating.
My future plans is to continue to grow and to eventually relinquish the business to my son Michael who is the fourth generation of tree trimmers in our family.
